The Daytime Emmy Awards will be airing tonight at 8/7c on CBS. The Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear had four nominations, which were presented on Friday, June 17th, at the Daytime Entertainment Creative Arts Emmy Awards presentation (try saying that three times fast).

    Um, it would be funny if Stephen beat out Sesame Street. I can smell the celebratory Grover meat barbecue from here.

    Oh, that clip! That was absolutely wonderful! It’s small consolation given that Stephen & Jon didn’t win (Well, at least that’s one Emmy that Jon didn’t win over Stephen! Okay, that made no sense.) But what a great clip. Thanks Justine Marie. I could watch that over and over again. (“Do I look French?” “Daddy?” — oh, too, too funny.)

    Part of me thought that they had a good chance of winning, then I realised that this was the Emmy’s and they never get it right. Oh well, at least we might get a hilarious “Who’s Not Honour Me Know” segment.

    Well…I did say on the Daytime Emmy blog post on NFZ that I would wag my entire body at the Academy if Jon and Stephen didn’t get a single award for their Rally nominations…so…

    *WAGS ENTIRE BODY AT THE ACADEMY FOR NOT RECOGNIZING THE AWESOMENESS WHICH IS THE RALLY AND OUR TWO #1 PUNDITS OF COMEDY*
